Editor Matt Terry originally established CureHodgkins.com to provide an internet alternative to scientific clinical sites that ignore the human side of cancer. Presents For Purpose is an LLC founded in 2002 by Cynthia Warner and Alayna Kassan with the initial objective of raising money to fund a Lymphoma Research Grant. Both of the founders have been personally touched by lymphoma and are determined to use their knowledge and experience to benefit others affected by this devastating disease.
The genesis of the idea behind Presents For Purpose came from years of volunteering their time with the Lymphoma Research Foundation. The focus was to aid development and research to find a cure to eradicate lymphoma. While these efforts were successful, the founders felt that if they could step outside of the constraints placed on charitable organizations, they could do even more.
My name is Anthony Leanna and I am a 13 year old from Wisconsin. Three years ago I started a program called "Heavenly Hats" which donates brand new hats to cancer patients who lose their hair due to medical treatments. Since starting my program I have been able to donate over 30,000 brand new hats to over 125 hospitals and clinics around the United States and thousands more to individuals in need.

Fighthodgkins.org was created to provide information and patient support for Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Donations are raised through fundraisers and 100% of proceeds are forwarded to the Lymphoma Fund at MGH Cancer Center. The Lymphoma Fund, run by Dr. Ronald Takvorian, supports clinical trials, data mining efforts, educational programs for staff and patients, patient monies such as drug costs, and the such. Right now, the Lymphoma Fund is trying to raise money for a lymphoma-related Tissue Bank for future research and an Outcomes database.
