Hodgkin's Disease is a cancer that has a very high survival rate. However, there are still those who are not lucky enough to be one of the 85% who are cured after initial chemotherapy and radiation treatments. The Kimberly D. Holland Hodgkin's Disease Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation which was established in 1999 by Kimberly and Randi Holland. Kimberly was diagnosed in March 1994 with Stage IIB Hodgkin's Disease and is still currently undergoing treatments for the disease. The Foundation was organized to fund clinical trials, research and publications relating to finding a cure for Hodgkin's Disease. By staging fundraisers and events, the proceeds will be contributed to the Foundation. Donations to this foundation will be forwarded to the Hodgkins Disease Research and clinical trial Department at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, New York.
